If a team gets knocked out of the Europa League is there an even lesser league in which they can win European silverware?
Unfortunately not.
With United being uncharacteristically weak in both the Champions League and the Europa League coupled with the fact that the major teams in England will inevitably bring in reinforcements for next season, the Red Devils will have to spend during the summer transfer window to ensure that they don’t fall behind the curve.
