After a shaky start to the season at Old Trafford, new-signing David De Gea has been called-up to the Spain squad for pre-Euro 2012 friendly matches against Serbia and South Korea.
De Gea is no stranger to international competition as he impressed for the Under-21s last year.

Atletico Madrid’s Juanfran and Adrian Lopez were also called up for the first time by manager Vicente Del Bosque. In total, six new faces will be named in Spain’s 21-man team which will take on Serbia and South Korea.

Midfielders: Xabi Alonso (Real Madrid), Santi Cazorla (Malaga), Benat Etxebarria (Real Betis), Isco (Malaga), Javi Garcia (Benfica), Bruno Soriano (Villarreal) David Silva (Man City), Jesus Navas (Sevilla)
Forwards: Alvaro Negredo (Sevilla), Roberto Soldado (Valencia); Adrian Lopez (Atletico Madrid).
Notably absent are players from Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao as they await to play in the Copa del Rey final on May 25.
