David Beckham is revealing for the first time the humiliating sex act he had to perform when he joined Manchester United as a teen.
In a new documentary — The Class of ’92 — Beckham said he had to stare at a photo of Welsh star Clayton Blackmore while masturbating as his new teammates cheered him on.
“Everyone had an initiation that you had to go through on the youth team, that was one of the most uncomfortable ones,” the legendary midfielder said, as reported by the London Metro.
“The fact that I had to look at Clayton Blackmore’s calendar and do certain things, while looking at Clayton Blackmore. I mean it was embarrassing to talk about!”
Beckham came clean about the seedy ceremony in the upcoming documentary.
The film reveals how Beckham and five other up and coming stars transformed staid Man. U., triggering a sea change in British culture.
“I was embarrassed when I was saying it on camera let alone talking about it more. But it’s something we all had to go through,” Beckham said. “It was definitely something I wouldn’t like to go through again!”
Another Manchester United player, Robbie Savage, tweeted that Beckham “wasn’t (the) only one” who had to do the twisted ritual.
